Beating the summer heat in Bakersfield isn’t easy these days, but residents of Highgate at Seven Oaks recently enjoyed a decidedly delicious solution – a Tacos, Beer, and Bingo Party in the air-conditioned comfort of the Highgate Swim & Fitness Clubhouse! The adults-only event began with a tempting selection of street tacos with sides, beer, and soft drinks. After everyone had their fill of the tantalizing tacos, it was on to the main event…BINGO! The cage was spun, the numbers were drawn, and it wasn’t long before shouts of “BINGO!” rang out across the room. In addition to the fun of enjoying the company of friends and neighbors, players also won some awesome prizes.
