Moving Forward with Nathan Stockmeir, President of Castle & Cooke Mainland
For over 30 years Castle & Cooke has been dedicated to developing the west side of Bakersfield into a desirable area for residential living and commercial shopping. Nathan Stockmeir, the new president of Castle & Cooke Mainland divisions, gave Stroll Seven Oaks an exclusive interview about Castle & Cooke and his plans for the company’s future.
Tell us about your background and what motivated you to take this position?
I previously served as the President of the Sherwood Development Company, which is a Castle & Cooke development located in Westlake Village. This large-scale, master-planned community is what inspired me to move into a position within the company to continue developing and expanding our footprint with numerous master-planned communities that include residential, commercial, and industrial assets.
Tell us about Castle & Cooke.
Castle & Cooke is a privately held premier luxury developer founded by David Murdock. The Mainland Division has holdings in Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, and California. In all these areas we have a single purpose and vision, which is to develop and build meaningful, beautiful, purpose-driven offerings.
