Farm to Table(aux) Coming to Highgate Place

The time of year is fast approaching for one of Bakersfield’s most unique and exciting fundraising events. Farm to Table(aux) returns to benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County on Friday, October 8th. Castle & Cooke is thrilled to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs for the fourth year of Farm to Table(aux) and host another tremendous night of art and fresh farm-to-table cuisine. Farm to Table(aux) always offers something unique and different to its guests, and this year the event will be hosted in the newest section of Highgate at Seven Oaks at the exclusive Parkshire Pool & Pavilion.

A new venue, and a new artist are set to bring together a wonderful night of art, food, performance, and fun. This year Farm to Table(aux) will focus on the artistic styling of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, the French artist famous for his paintings and drawings of the Moulin Rouge. “Our Artfest event, now Farm to Table(aux), originated with a generous gift from Castle & Cooke to support the visual and performing arts for children,” said Zane Smith, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County. “Over the years, Castle & Cooke has continued to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs by providing exceptional Castle & Cooke properties as the perfect backdrop to celebrate the amazing artistic accomplishments of our children. We are forever grateful for the investment in our kids and the on-going support that has helped make Farm to Table(aux) our annual signature event.”

Castle & Cooke is honored to continue its longtime support of the Boys & Girls Clubs. “I knew the minute I first saw the fantastic art created by the kids on display at the Marketplace that this was something special and Castle & Cooke needed to help grow this through fundraising,” stated Darlene Mohlke, Vice President, Castle & Cooke. For over 20 years Castle & Cooke has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club to highlight the important work being done and the difference it makes in the lives of children in Kern County.

Farm to Table(aux) is sure to be the event of the year, bringing outstanding food, drink, art, and entertainment to its guests while supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience this unique event. Tickets are available at farmtotableaux.com/event/bgckc.
